The reception is a sensitive, cost effective response to our specific brief. The innovative design worked very well to over-clad the existing reception desk, using a mixture of finishes chosen by our SEB brand guardian and Burtt-Jones & Brewer. The new ergonomically designed desk and wall cladding modernise a dated space, with some very clever details, such as a lowered counter section for courier drop off packages and the small, discreet store spaces for the tenants’ post behind the desk.

Bath and North East Somerset Council worked closely with Burtt-Jones & Brewer on the design of Bath’s Co-Working Hub, which is based in the Guildhall. The Co-Working Hub is now fully operational and has become the centre of Bath’s creative and tech community. The interior design of the space has helped to create a genuine community of Co-Workers, with adaptable places to work, meet, drink and eat.
