Asset Management company, Hosking & Co. approached us to design for the fit of their new workplace (working with our friends at Constructive Space . It is located in a unique but complicated site, nestled behind the National Gallery and above a hotel. They desired a bright, contemporary yet modest space. Their brief was to pose somewhat of a design challenge as the working area lacked any natural daylight, had core walls that were set far back from the external windows coupled with low and varying levels of ceiling heights. We knew that through clever use of lighting and specifying furniture design classics, from the likes of Knoll and Vitra, we could design the light and modern environment they hoped for. Herman Miller provided bespoke desk solutions and along side the use of innovative veneers and light finishes the results, it was received with applause.
