As the first signs of Spring are carried along the March breeze, there’s a real sense of hope and joy returning, after what has felt like a very long winter. Whilst nature has been sleeping, we’ve been busy giving our branding a little Spring clean, we hope you like our new look. Our new brand colours are inspired by our favourite ‘colour’ of wine Barolo, widely considered as Italy’s king of wines!

March is also known as B Corp Month, an annual global celebration of everything it means to be a B Corp. So it is incredibly fitting to have received our official B Corp certification during the month of March. To be joining the B Corp family as one of the thousands of businesses all striving towards one collective goal to use ‘business as a force for good’.™ is a huge sense of achievement. Especially, when UK Gov figures state that in 2023 there were 5.1 million companies registered in the UK, only 1,915 with UK Headquarters have received accreditation - BJB is proudly being one.

The B Corp assessment process was vigorous, and rightly so, but we’re deeply humbled that our founding principles are being recognised along with our philosophy that design can make a real difference.

Our co-founders have also been busy, Adam spoke at the DisruptHR event in South Wales, on a mission to challenge people to REthink the workplace, whilst Steve’s latest article ‘Being Human - Wellbeing in the Workplace’ is featured in The Journal of Biophilic Design, exploring the wellbeing ‘jigsaw’ puzzle that has a positive impact of people at work and how informed design decisions help towards striking the right balance.

Lastly, daffodils, not only the national flower of Wales (and BJB are more than half Welsh) which makes us rather fond of them. They’re springing up all over the place, along country lanes, parks and gardens bringing splashes of sunshine at every corner. Nodding their heads as if to remind us all that Spring is finally here and it’s not going to get dark now before 7pm until October.
